After Little Vumbura, we took our last flight on our King Air to Johannesburg, South Africa, for a night at the Grace Hotel. On the way, we stopped at a wild animal park to play with the lion cubs. This little guy was very friendly, but he did like to chew on the photo models.
The next day was June 25, and the hotel was celebrating Christmas in June. After being in the bush for 6 days, it seemed kind of strange to be plopped into a 5 star hotel in a major urban area.
It did feel good to soak in a nice hot bath.
