Notice of procedure change for ants and beetles:
For the March 8th event, you will only be guaranteed 10 minutes between fights
for the 1 and 3 pound classes. This is necessary to get through the event in
one day, given the number of ants and beetles registered.
Robots weighing 12 pounds and over will still have 20 minutes between fights.
Highlights of extensions, restrictions, and changes:
- Raised working pressure limits to 1,000 psi for CO2 and 2,500 for HPA.
- No Internal Combustion Engines (ICE)
- Walker bonus is 50%
- Preapproval require for spinners with blades that reach over our steel bumpers (over 7" and 7" beyond the robot's base)
- Pre-approval required for hammer bots...they must not contact the floor with force.
- No reserved frequencies for January 25th, but we will be reserving 68, 71, and 79 in the future.
- Dual switch/LED rule for 12 pounds and above.
