After a brief walk around the interior of the Pantheon (what an awesome building), we headed for Trevi Fountain, where we all threw coins in the fountain. That is supposed to guarantee a return to Rome. The kids all threw two coins each, which means they will get married in Rome.

We stopped for ice cream and then dragged the kids another mile through the Roman Forum to see the Colliseum. There we relented and took a taxi back to the Vatican to wait for the tour bus.

We ate more ice cream and waited until it was time for the 90 minute ride back to the ship.
